Choosing a “backdrop” for your boudoir/escort/fetish photoshoot is just as important as your wardrobe for the day. It must go well with your individual style, convey a feeling unique to your brand, and fit harmoniously with your look. It could be at your incall, a hotel, an Airbnb, a professional photography studio, a dungeon, a swimming pool, a rented car or even a boat. Beautiful cafes, lounges, parks, the beach, even downtown Toronto business central streets could be fantastic backdrops. A prospective client wants to get to know you and for them to keep coming back to you and book longer sessions, it would be very beneficial to you to have images that portray you in different situations beyond the bedroom.
INDOOR BOUDOIR STYLE STUDIOS
The following are my top choices for indoor photography studios in Toronto that would be fantastic for a boudoir style photoshoot. Many rent by the hour, so the investment is smaller than a hotel.
AIRBNB and TORONTO AREA HOTELS
There are plenty of choices when it comes to booking an Airbnb or hotel for your photoshoot. It’s important to note that not every host and hotel are comfortable with a photoshoot at their establishment, so it’s better to go with an Airbnb that’s clearly a commercial unit, or a big chain hotel to minimize risk.
TORONTO LUXURY HOTELS
Please keep in mind: Do not book Bisha Hotel or other boutique hotels.
The Hazelton Hotel
One King West
Don’t underestimate the value of having a photoshoot at your incall if you have one. Not only would your client feel comfortable meeting you there as you are advertising your experience to them as it is, all your wardrobe and props are there as well, which will help making your bodouir/fetish photoshoot more exciting.
If your goal is to book longer escort sessions with repeat clients (isn’t this everyone’s goal, okay maybe most of you), it’s up to you to plant the seed in your prospective client’s mind that you are an escort in every sense of the way. You provide escort services to dinners, shows, overnights, weekends away and long vacations. To do that you need photos that show you wearing appropriate clothing, taken in appropriate settings. All your photographs shouldn’t be just you in lingerie.
The possibilities are endless. Outdoor photoshoots can be at all hours of the day, from morning and evening (golden hour), to mid-day and after sunset (with city lights as your backdrop – we could really get creative here).
This is easy – your incall or a dungeon are your best bet. Below is a list of rental dungeons in Toronto I have found that would be perfect for a photoshoot:
I hope this blog is helpful for you. This list is not complete, if you know if a space or another resource for potential spots for photography, please send it my way and I will update the blog.
Let’s get creative together!
